Barry has worked in the field of television production since 1980 when he was a student worker. Soon after his graduation, he became a full-time staff in 1986. His shooting, editing, and producing skills became enhanced when he was involved in virtually all of Deaf Mosaic productions - studio and remote. He won the local chapter Emmy Award in the category of the segment producer - Fighting for the Right to Drive - in 1990. Currently, he is a Senior Producer at eLearning and Video Services.

Barry is originally from the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area and now makes his home in the metro Washington D.C. area. He graduated from Gallaudet University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Television, Film and Photography.
