Sheri was born and raised in Texas. Sheri attended and graduated from Texas School for the Deaf. She earned her Bachelor's degree in History from Gallaudet University in 1998 and Masters in Deaf Education from Lamar University in 2002.

Over the years, Sheri taught different topics in various settings including elementary school, community center and university. In the past 3 years, she taught several langauge courses with the English Department, the Department of Applied Literacy, English Language Institute, American Sign Language/ Deaf Studies Department at Gallaudet University and American Sign Language Program at Montgomery College.

Now, Sheri enjoys serving full-time as an eLearning Facilitator with Academic Technology Department. She lives in Silver Spring, MD with her husband, Peter Un.

Sheri also invites you to come by and visit eLearning Lab in the lower level of the library known as MLC, Room B132.
